• 1. How to integrate Freshdesk with Hippo video?

  Steps to integrate Hippo Video with Freshdesk:1. Go to your Freshdesk account and click on your profile avatar. You can find your API token under profile settings.2. Once you copy your API token, go to settings and select 'Apps'.3. Search for Hippo Video app and paste the API key in the space provided. Click on ‘Install’.Once you are done, you can go to your tickets tab and check for the Hippo Video widget. If the app is integrated, you should be able to record a video or select the videos which are already recorded inside Freshdesk.

• 2. How to integrate with Zendesk?

  1. Go to Zendesk dashboard and click on settings.2. Select Marketplace under ‘Apps’ and search for ‘Hippo Video’ in the search bar.3. Install Hippo Video.Once you are done installing Hippo Video, you just need to provide your Zendesk API Token to get started.

  To get Zendesk API Token, all you have to do is

  1. Go to Settings tab inside your Zendesk account2. Go to API -> Settings3. Copy paste the active API token key. If you don’t have a token already you can generate a new one. Please ensure that you have the Admin privilegeOnce you are done with this process, you will automatically be signed up with Hippo Video. You will receive an email with your Hippo Video login credentials.

• 3. How to share videos to Zendesk from Hippo Video?

  Share your videos as articles to Zendesk from Hippo Video:1. Create a new video or choose the one which is already recorded.2. Select your video and click on ‘SHARE’.3. You can see various sharing options, select ‘ZENDESK’.4. Now choose ‘Add Article’ to send your video as an article.5. Choose your category and section to where you want to import your video in Zendesk and add a title to your video.6. Click on ‘POST’. You can check your video in Zendesk under selected category and section.

• 4. Why is the video thumbnail not displayed in the Linkedin Sales Navigator chat?

  A: Sales Navigator does not support thumbnail (i.e image). If the recipient receives the video link in their LinkedIn chat, then the thumbnail will be displayed by LinkedIn.

• 5. Why is the video thumbnail not getting displayed inside Hubspot Email Template?

  A: Problem: The HTML code may be pasted inside the Text component which will not be supported.
  Solution: To embed the code inside Hubspot Email Template, please follow the below steps:1. Click + More under the Content tab on the left.2. Drag and drop the HTML component and place it in the email body.3. Now, paste the copied code in the Edit HTML window on the left.
  Note: The code is copied from Hippo Video Library > Share/Embed Code icon > Send Campaign from Other Marketing Softwares tab> Select HubSpot from Email Marketing Software drop-down..4. You will see now the video will get pasted as a thumbnail inside the email.

• 6. How to embed a code from the Hippo Video Library and paste it inside the Hubspot Email Template?

  A. Login to Hippo Video with your existing credentials.
  B. To embed an existing video, click on the Library icon from the left navbar.
  C. Click on All Assets and then select the video that you wish to embed.
  D. Now, click on Share/Embed Code icon on the right and then click Embed.
  E. Click Hubspot Embed and then click on COPY CODE.
  F. Then, login to HubSpot with your existing credentials.
  G. Click on Marketing from the top menu and then click on Email.
  H. Now, click on Create Email from the top right corner.
  I. Select the Email Template and click on More > HTML tag from the left panel.
  J. Edit the HTML tag and paste the code.
  K. The video gets embedded as a thumbnail inside the email.

• 7. Will video analytics be shown in Hubspot when a form embedded in Video is filled by a contact?

  Yes. Once your contact plays the video and fills the form which is embedded in the video, the video analytics will be shown inside Hubspot. Please follow the below steps on how to get video analytics inside Hubspot for the forms filled:

  
  A. Login to Hubspot with your existing credentials.
  B. Click on the Contacts tab from the top.
  C. Then, click on the appropriate contact from the list.
  D. You’ll be able to notice the action made against the video by your specific contact which is fetched by Hippo Video will be available below the Activities tab.

• 8. How do I insert my calendar in a video embedded in the HubSpot landing page?

  For example, to embed a prospecting video with a CTA called ‘Request a demo’ inside the HubSpot landing page, we recommend that you add the CTA link (calendly) to your video and then copy the HubSpot embed code. Let’s look at the steps for doing the same

  
  A. Login to Hippo Video
  B. To insert a calendly link in a video, select the video you wish to add.
  C. Below the video preview, click on the Timeline Actions tab and select In-Video Meeting Link.
  D. Now, click In-Video Meeting Link from the right below Timeline Actions.
  E. On the CTA page, enter the calendly link in the Meeting Link field to request the prospect to book a meeting or schedule a demo.
  F. Click Apply. You’ll notice that the meeting link gets added to your video.
  G. Then, click on Share/Embed Code icon Embed > HubSpot Embed.
  H. Then, click on Publish Video > Embed > HubSpot Embed from the right.
  I. Now, navigate to the HubSpot account.
  J. Go to Marketing > Landing Page > Select the theme.
  K. Place the cursor inside the editor box and select Source Code from the pop-up.
  L. Then, paste the code inside the Edit Source Code editor window.
  M. To check whether the video is working in the HubSpot landing page along with the CTA (which will appear at the end of your video), click Preview at the top right.
  N. Once you’re done, click on Save Changes and then, Publish at the top right corner.

• 9. Why CTA link is not working on my website?

  When you embed a video with an iframe on your website, the specific script tag may get removed automatically and because of that Hippo Video gets access only to that iframe. This restricts the meeting link (CTA) to show on the full screen and in some cases, the CTA button may not work. To fix this issue, you need to add the below scripts to your website page which enables Hippo Video to make the CTA show in full screen.

• 10. Why are animated GIFs in Outlook not opening the video-sharing page?

  Whenever you share a GIF through email, the Play and Pause button of Outlook desktop versions (2013 - 2019) gets added automatically to the thumbnail. This is not the expected behavior in other Outlook versions (office 365 and live) and this is applicable for Hippo Video, as well.

  
  

  For instance, if you try to click on the play/pause button on the video thumbnail that is inserted from Hippo Video, it will only play/pause the GIF and not the video.
  Except for the play/pause button on the video thumbnail, the rest of the thumbnail is a clickable hyperlink that redirects you to the video-sharing page.

  
  

  Is there a Workaround for the Issues with GIFs in Outlook?
  Yes. the following workaround will resolve the issue,

  
  A. Use a static thumbnail and ensure that your recipient can click on any part of the image to open the link to your sharing page.
  B. Add text to nudge the user to click on the play icon in the bottom or add a link to a video in the email body. Check out the below example.
